Who We Are

Our website address is: https://www.ewcpa.com.

What Personal Data We Collect and Why We Collect It

Our website, www.ewcpa.com, is a WordPress hosted website. WordPress does not collect any personal or analytic information in and of itself. We are not responsible for the privacy policies of any sites to which our site may provide links or otherwise identify. Eckelberg & Weinshienk, PC encourages you to review the privacy statements of such websites so that you can understand how those websites collect, use, and share your information.

Cookies

As of the time of this revision, Eckelberg & Weinshienk, PC does not collect any information about your computer hardware and software. Cookies are not enabled on this website.

Should a portal/account be added to this website: If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Embedded Content from Other Websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website. As previously stated, we are not responsible for the privacy policies of any sites to which our site may provide links or otherwise identify. Eckelberg & Weinshienk, PC encourages you to review the privacy statements of such websites so that you can understand how those websites collect, use, and share your information.

Website Analytics

By default, WordPress does not collect any analytics data. We do, however, use Google Analytics for general website tracking statistics. Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google utilizes the data collected to track and examine the use of this Website, to prepare reports on its activities and share them with other Google services. You should review their Privacy Policy and contact them directly if you have questions. If you do not want any information to be collected and used by tracking technologies, visit the Network Advertising Initiative Opt-Out Tool or Digital Advertising Alliance Opt-Out Tool.

Who We Share Your Data With

Duane – do we have to include non-website collection, such as CCH, our backups, Sage? I’m assuming all of the data for these sites is stored locally, otherwise Lois would be able to get to the latest CCH returns without bringing over a backup. In this section you should name and list all third-party providers with whom you share site data, including partners, cloud-based services, payment processors, and third-party service providers, and note what data you share with them and why. Link to their own privacy policies if possible. I also have not included, here or in Ruach, BackupBuddy, iSecurity Pro, GoDaddy/AISO – I think these are the only ones who have the entire website.

How Long We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. Should we put this in at this point?

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What Rights You Have Over Your Data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments (In or out, depending on other blog decisions), you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
